Teaching

Whether it’s our regular Dancebase classes, our education programme, our micro-classes at tea dances and other events, or getting things going at a party, we just love to teach dance!  Over the years, Fly Right has developed its own approach to teaching – equating fun with learning.

All too often, we hear that tired old refrain: “I’ve got two left feet”.  People seem to feel that you can either dance or you can’t – as if you have to have a special gene to be able to dance.  Well, it’s our belief that everyone and anyone can dance – like anything else, it just needs practice.  And once you discover the fun of it…. well, there’s no stopping!

If you’d like to get the Fly Right approach for your event, why not try a fun micro-class? Our Fifteen-Minute Foxtrot ^©, Quick-and-Dirty Quickstep^© or Charleston micro-classes will get folk on the floor and dancing in a matter of minutes – even if they’ve never danced before. We are also in demand for private parties and functions – we’re often asked to do fun classes for hen parties, where our Charleston workshops go down a storm!
